Paint Shop Pro v7 » Two backgrounds
I’ll use two different pictures as background for this horse pic. I’ll use this one:

And this one:

Copy paste number one over to number two (ctrl A (select all), ctrl C (copy), go to the other image and ctrl L (paste as new layer)). Then reduce opacity of layer two to something that looks good. As you can see I’ve chosen opacity 55.

And the result is:

Now you can add a horse and a border, and the name of course. You can do this with many types of backgrounds. Test out to see what looks good. You can add clouds and a moon to a dark forest for example, or a waterfall to a field.
