Paint Shop Pro v7 » Scan lines
Scan lines are those thin horizontal or vertical lines you sometimes see on pictures. So, I have a background picture:
And I'll add some scan lines to this, by clicking on Effect in the tool bar, then choose Texture effects, and Blinds:
You will get this little box up:
Choose what color you want on the blinds, the opacity (how strong you want the scan lines to show), if you want them to be horizontal of vertical, and if you want the light to be from left/top or not, that one doesn't really matter when your lines are so thin. Those fat lines will probably not look so good.. I always keep the with on 1 when I use scan lines..
And the result is:
My opinion is that the lines would not look good on the horse alone:
But on the background, it would look good:
And it can work on the whole pic:
