Paint Shop Pro v7 » Rotate the text
You can rotate the text so it goes sideways or horizontally. It’s really easy. I’ll use this picture here:
Choose the text tool 
and write your text on as usual. Make sure you have set the Vector on:
Now, the text will look like this:
Click of the little square I’ve marked on the picture, and drag it in the direction you want the text to be in:
The text looks like this now:
Convert it to a raster layer:
The result:
