Vectors are those little cartoon images that you see randomly around HL, They fairly easy to make with practice and I enjoy doing. So to start off you need a picture. Lets use this
Paste your image into photoshop. Then select the lasso tool on the left hand side
On the tool bar you will see a little pull down on the left side. Selcted "Point to Point"
Next you need to outline the outside of the flower using the lasso tool, but NOT the flower. Note: When your done outlining right click on your mouse
Then take the paint brush and put it on 500 and color it in with whatever background color you would like
Then you outline a petal and color it in with a like color.
Do the whole image using different colors for shading and different effects.
When you're done it should look a little something like this
Play around and experiment with it, you'll find ways that will work for you.
