Paint Shop Pro X » Make brushes

First, find a picture you want to be a brush, or create your own swirls, stars or what ever you want. I’ll use this home made picture. It’s ugly, but I’ll show what I want to show so never mind that hehe.

Select the area where the brush is with the Selection tool.

Choose the paint brush in the left menu:

Click on the little arrow next to the current brush, and a drop down box will show:

Click on the “Create brush tip from selection” button:

Come up with a clever name, and save

My new (fantastic) brush now shows in the brush selection. Click ok.
