Animations » Introduction
You can't make animations in PSP. You have to use a animation program. Jasc Paint Shop Pro (v7 and earlyer versions), you most likely have a program called Animation shop 3 (Corel psp 8 -> does not include the program). This is a program you can create animations in. You create each slide in PSP, then put them together and make it as an animation in Animation Shop 3.
I will make a vote banner, that's going to be animated, with the text changing.
First I make a picture in PSP, with no text on. All the tings you want not to change on the banner, you should add to this first slide. I'll include my copyright, and a border around. This is the background I've made:

I'll have the picture with no text on open all the time in PSP. Whenever I want text on, I'll copy the background and paste it as a new picture (in PSP) and use the copy to write on.
Since I want an empty slide first in my animation, I copy the slide, and simply paste it into animation shop 3 (from now on called as3). These 2 programs can work together, they are both Jasc/Corel software, so copy pasting fourth and back between the programs are possible :D

Now, write the text you want on the copy of the background, in PSP, and paste it into as3. Remember to merge the layers before you copy paste, if you have more than one layer. Not as a new picture, but as a slide after the slide that is already in there. This, you do by right clicking on the previous slide, choose paste -> after current slide:

And do the same to the rest of the slides…
Now you have a line of slides that looks like this:

Save (you will have to go thru a wizard, but just click next till you get to the end). The better image quality at the slide bar to the left (see picture bellow), and remember to save the animations as a .gif, or it won't be an animation.

And you will have a animated voting banner. If you think the slides change too fast, take a look at the transitions tutorial.
