Double expanding cover up layout

We will create a layout that looks something like this:

To use this code generator you need two pictures: a layout picture and a background picture. A tip is to make the layout picture first, then chop of a part of the bottom of the picture, paste it as a new image and save it:

If the backgroun picture repeats, you have to make it wider. Paste the croped of part to a new, blank image in a picture program and color some more to the right. Crop out the new part and save it as a new image.

You now have a layout picture (look at layout picture) and a background picture (look at background picture) that fits together. Upload the pictures to a server. You can use www.photobucket.com.

Use this ruler to measure your layout picture's height and width. Measure the text areas and the spaces in front of and between the text areas too. If you are unsure of what values that should go where, take a look at this image.
