Paint Shop Pro v7 » Less than 100kb

Horseland horse pics have to be less than 100 kb in size. In PSP you can choose how much you want to compress the picture. When you save your new picture, save it as .jpg. When you have chosen "Save as type: JPEG - JFIF Compliant (*.jpg, *.jif, *jpeg)" (green circle), that is one of many types, click on "Options" (blue circle). Leave the radio button on "Standard encoding", but change the number in "compression factor" to a higher number than 1. How high the number should be, depends on how big in kb your picture is originally. To test how big your picture is, store it first with compression 1. Then take a look at its properties in the folder you stored it in (right click on the picture and choose properties. This you have to do in the folder you saved it in, not in PSP). If the picture has a kb size of 200, you could set the Compression Factor to 11 (red circle). If it's till to big, choose a higher compression factor (maybe 13), and if it's below 90 kb, choose a lower compression factor. The higher compression factor, the more blurry the picture gets. So Try to store it with the lowest compression factor possible. (If the picture is bigger than 97 kb, HL won't accept it)

Remember to save your picture in a .psp version too so you can edit it later if wanted.
