About Embla
I am a woman (iih, girl?) from Norway. The looong country next to Sweeden and above Denmark. We speak norwegian, but most younger people know how to speak english. I don't have a horse at the moment, but I'm saving up for a dressage horse. I've been riding my whole life, and I used to have a show jumping pony. I'm half leasing an arabian at the moment. I have a english cocker spaniel and a boy friend which I live together with. I started playing Horseland in 2003, when I had a very boring summer job involving computers. I have a master degree in computer science from a university here in Norway. I have now quit playing the game. I spend time on making real life web pages, the tutorial forum included in this tutorial site and a lot of other stuff besides computers.
The site
I started creating this site in 2004 i think, because I really wanted to help people creating pictures and layouts and I got a bit tired of answering the same questions over and over again. The site was small in the beginning, and it has grown over time. Now there are allmost about 50 tutorials and a forum.
